Entre la fin de la route et le début de la plage, il y a toujours ce lieu indéfini. Entre deux espaces à la fonction limpide, "se déplacer" et "s'amuser", celui ci fait de la résistance et existe obstinément. Absurdement pourrait on dire. A angle droit avec le flux des trajectoires vers la mer, j'ai choisis de parcourir ce territoire de l'absurde entre la Camargue et Marseille. A travers la campagne, les marais salants, les zones industrielles et les caravanes. Au fur et à mesure, si proche, si loin, la mer se fait désirer. Une approche documentaire paraissant inadaptée à ce lieu étrange, ce travail prend la forme d'un carnet de notes photographiques d'un évadé qui déambule, cherchant à savoir ce qu'il y a derriere la mer...
